This directory tells you that a licence record exists in a public register. That is all it tells you. It is not a statement that anyone is competent, honest, insured, bonded, available, reasonably priced, or suitable for your situation.
We do not rank, score, rate or review professionals, and we do not accept payment for a better position or for a verification state.
What the verification states mean — exactly
- Checked The licence was obtained from the issuing authority's register on the date shown on the record. It confirms the register listed that licence, in that name, at that time. It does not confirm the person's work, conduct or continuing status.
- Owner-confirmed The business claimed the listing and confirmed its own details. We have not independently checked it against the register.
- Listed Compiled from public records and not individually confirmed.
None of these states is an endorsement, and none is a substitute for your own check.
Verify the licence yourself — it takes two minutes
Every record links to the official register where you can confirm a licence is active, is the right type, and is valid in Florida. Do this before you hire anyone or sign anything.

Florida law restricts how public adjusters may solicit and contact claimants, and those restrictions tighten when a state of emergency has been declared. This site does not solicit on anyone's behalf. If you are contacted by an adjuster, or anyone else, in a way that feels improper, you can report it to the Florida Department of Financial Services.

Licence records change constantly, and public registers contain errors of their own. We do not warrant that anything here is accurate, complete or current. If you find an error, please tell us so we can fix it.
